Terms and cancellation policy

 

These terms apply to every treatment, consultation and workshop booked with Albion Ayurveda (Emily Nichols). Booking means you agree to them.

 

Booking and payment

• Payment is taken when you book. Your appointment is confirmed once payment is received.

• Prices are those on the current price list at the time you book.

 

Cancelling or moving an appointment

• More than 48 hours' notice: you can move your appointment or cancel for a full refund.

• Less than 48 hours' notice: the full fee is kept, as the time can rarely be filled.

• Illness or a genuine emergency: tell me as soon as you can. I may waive the fee or move your appointment at my discretion.

• If I need to cancel: you'll be offered a new time or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

Late arrival and missed appointments

• If you arrive late, your session still ends at the booked time and the full fee applies.

• If you miss your appointment without letting me know, the full fee is kept.

 

Your health and your session

• Before your first session you'll complete a health and consent form. Please tell me if anything changes before later sessions.

• My treatments support general wellbeing. They are not medical treatment and do not replace advice from your GP or another health professional. I don't diagnose medical conditions.

• If your health means a treatment isn't suitable, I may adapt it, postpone it or suggest you check with your GP first.

• You can ask me to change or stop a treatment at any time. I may also end a session if continuing would not be safe or appropriate.

 

Booking online

When you book without meeting me in person, the law gives you 14 days from booking to change your mind.

• If your appointment falls within those 14 days, booking it means you are asking me to provide the service within that period.

• If you cancel within the 14 days, you'll be refunded, less a proportionate charge for any part of the service already provided.

• Once your session has taken place in full, the 14-day right to cancel no longer applies.

• Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

 

Vouchers, packages, privacy and contact

• Gift vouchers and packages carry their own terms, shown when you buy them.

• How I keep and protect your information is set out in the privacy notice.
